Auto Racing Trophies

I did a little product photography work this month for Simes Graphic Designs, the distributor of these unique chrome-finished auto racing trophies. The trophies are produced locally by Metal Arts, a family-owned business in Mandan, ND.

Black & White Gallery III

A 30" x 30" print of this image is hanging in Harvest Restaurant, part of my Black & White Bismarck-Mandan Photograph Gallery. The detail a print that size provides is amazing, as my wife noted that she hadn't noticed the water splashing on top of the light fixture until she saw the featured image.

Champion Awards

Thought I better share some work images, so you don't think I'm hibernating. I photographed the Champion Award winners for the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency earlier this month. This is the Lutheran Social Services Housing, Inc.'s board and staff, winners of NDHFA's Housing Production Award.

Geese, geese and more geese

My wife and I drove up the back way to Washburn this weekend, and then onto Riverdale so I could do a little scouting on an upcoming project. We swung around past Garrison Dam and stumbled upon a wild party... Canada Geese, thousands of them, surrounding the Intake Structure on the north side of the dam. The sight was dumbfounding and the noise was even crazier, thousands of geese honking all at once. Wow!

Black & White Gallery II

This photograph of the cupola on Mandan's depot building is one of my images currently being featured at Harvest Restaurant in Mandan. The depot is a community landmark, central to the downtown area.
