Why I Love Racing

I know you're expecting some racing shots with me being out at Dacotah Speedway again this year.  Sorry, no cars just yet.  To me this is priceless, it's one of the reasons why I love the sport.  A dad can take his son out to the track and share the experience together.  My dad and I are both racing fans and we still get to go together, have been since I was probably about the same age as this little guy.

Love this Composition

Here is one of my favorite compositions to do as a photographer - a sharp focal point to one side with a blurred background filling the rest of the frame.  It works so well for my clients to use an image set-up like this.  The focused portion of the image tells the story, and the unfocused portion gives them a great background for text. Bismarck State College has already put it to work on their Facebook page and in their flickr account.

Interior Woodworks Images in Action

Wow, excited to see that Interior Woodworks has their website up and running.  I photographed the business a couple days for them last summer.  The "framed" images at the top and the "accent" images on the left sides of each page are mine.  Always exciting to actually see my images in action.  Looks good!

Ready for the season
